Tinka Kovačič

Hello, my name is Tinka Kovačič. I am a Slovenian artist and designer working across a wide range of mediums, currently based in The Hague, Netherlands. I studied Graphic Design at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague (2019-2023). During my internship at Studio Studio in Ghent, Belgium, (2022) I worked with visual identities for clients within the social and cultural sector.

My work varies from publications, posters, illustration, and animation. I am interested in finding compelling, playful ways to present narratives. In animation, I am particularly curious about combining graphic design tool like motion graphics with the more traditional technique of stop motion.

Every moment not spent on the mentioned projects, I dedicate to crafting ceramics, mostly pottery, and caring for my one too many plants.
